Kate Odulukwe is a Nigerian-American television, film and stage actor as well as a singer/songwriter. After high school, her passion for performing took her to Philadelphia to study at the University of Pennsylvania.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Penn with a minor in Theatre Arts, Kate was accepted into the prestigious SpringboardNYC program by the American Theatre Wing, founder of the Tony® Awards. There she learned more about the industry and took master classes with Tony Nominees and industry professionals. Additionally, she was able to attend the 2016 Tony Awards with the rest of her SpringboardNYC Class.

Kate continues to be an ambassador for the American Theatre Wing. Additionally, she has performed on television, new media, award-winning plays, theatre festivals, independent features and cabaret shows. For instance, Kate’s has a recurring guest star role in the Amazon Prime series: “Sit Black & Relax.” Furthermore, her debut EP Melanin and Melancholy was released in 2018.
